Really Understanding Kubernetes

You know those memes about people trying to exit VIM, and they're still trying. As it turns out, there seem to be memes about Kubernetes too. I read a funny but relatable tweet the other day that reads: "One time I tried to explain Kubernetes to someone. Then we both didn't understand it".

This is just one of those memes, but I have seen a bunch more.

Now, if you thought that Kubernetes was hard. Apparently, there is an entire repo on GitHub by Kelsey Hightower called Kubernetes The Hard Way that has almost 50k stars. I wanted to give it a try, but I just couldn't find the time (or guts) to actually start, so I didn't, until I received a newsletter from Ivan over at Iximiuz with a newly launched course called Kubernetes The (Very) Hard Way which is inspired by Kelsey's.

And as a premium member of Iximiuz Labs, I thought I'd give this one a shot, since I wouldn't need to set up or manage VM's, due to their labs.
